I think we all need a little break from time to time. I've been a passionate home cook for the last 25 years, and there are just some days when I just don't feel like cooking, I'm sure you will discover your passion again :)

Its really great you have a garden and growing real food! My plants are all inedible, unfortunately. Perhaps some day.. I'll be growing potatoes and rosemary.. Apparently rosemary grows really well in Singapore's tropical heat!

PS. A newborn is demanding!!

Thanks, Kevin! I've got the little horseradish plant you gave us planted in a big pot (to keep it from taking over), so I'm hoping that next year I'l have my very own to work with. I'm thinking horseradish mustard.

kickpleat, Yeah, the saltines and marshmallow are actually pretty good. All I do is put a marshmallow on top of a cracker then pop it under the broiler until it roasts. If I'm feeling fancy, I spread the cracker with peanut butter first. I think I got the recipe from SELF magazine. Weird, right? And I guess blogging funks come and go, right? (ps. i had to go to urban dictionary to look up "getting your ya-yas out." I live in a strange bubble, maybe.)

The blogging ennui, I know it well. But I like how you were able to out-funk the funk by hanging out with friends and getting your ya-yas out. But please tell me more about this saltines & marshmallow business?
